London's 1000 Most Influential People

Sir Elton John was named as one of London's 1000 most influential people in the Evening Standard on Tuesday.    He was included in the 'Society' section of the list and particularly noted for his work with the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Brian Paddick Runs in London Marathon for EJAF

Liberal Democrat Mayoral candidate for London, Brian Paddick, ran the London Marathon on Sunday 13 April for the Elton John AIDS Foundation completing the couse in 4:52:33 coming an overall 24898.

David Furnish and Johnny Bergius, trustees of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, took time out of their busy schedules to experience first-hand the result of EJAF’s work in India.

Robert Key, the Executive Director of the Elton John AIDS Foundation attended an Investiture on Tuesday, 19 February to receive his MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) from The Queen at Buckingham Palace.

Brian Paddick Running in London Marathon for EJAF

Liberal Democrat Mayoral candidate for London, Brian Paddick, will be running the London Marathon on 13 April for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.       Brian has been a long term supporter of EJAF and the fight against AIDS.

Tyddn Bach Featured on BBC Radio 4

The Elton John AIDS Foundation supports Tyddn Bach, a centre in North Wales which provides  respite care to people living with HIV from anywhere in the UK. Some people accessing this service have been living with HIV for many years and have complex medical needs.

Ukraine Project Wins Lottery Funding

The Elton John AIDS Foundation in conjunction with its project partners – Romanian Angel Appeal (RAA), the All-Ukrainian Newtork (Network) PLWH and the Elena Franchuk AntiAIDS Foundation, is please to announce the launch of new 5 year project to “Improve the live of HIV+ families & children in Ukraine”.

Elton Visits HIV/AIDS Projects in South Africa

During his time in Cape Town, Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish, visited projects funded by the Elton John AIDS Foundation.  To date funded some 150 projects funded in South Africa alone totalling some ZAR 88million (USD$12.5 Million).
