EQUITY TENNIS TOURNAMENT
24th AUGUST 2008
QUEENS CLUB, LONDON.
The twelfth annual Equity Tennis Tournament was held once again at the Queen's Club and was a wonderful day of tennis, fun and fundraising.
The event raised over £4,000 to support the work of the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
A big thank you to everybody involved in organising the event especially to Timea Oscar, who tirelessly works to make it a success each year.
Thank you to the Queen's Club for their hospitality, and for welcoming us back for our ninth year here. Special appreciation goes to Keith Williams, Glynis Sutcliffe, and Mike Hayes for all their assistance with the event, as well as the staff for looking after us so well.
A hugh thank you to Chris Northley for all his wonderful help through the year, and the exceptional way he organises the Mixed Doubles Round Robin.
Our sincere gratitude goes to all our sponsors for supporting the event, and to the many companies who have generously donated prizes for the raffle and silent auction. Many thank to Imbide for kindly donating the drinks again, and to Mark, Ian & Tony at Trident Printing for putting the programme together as well as supplying the raffle tickets.
