HIV and AIDS Treatment in Practice (HATIP) is an international bi-monthly e-mail newsletter that aims to improve the health and quality of life of people with HIV/AIDS in resource limited settings by providing the latest HIV treatment news, as well as practical information, to enhance the capacity of healthcare workers to deliver effective treatment and care.
HATIP is the only independently produced newsletter specifically focused on treatment and care in developing countries. The readership includes doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers, treatment advocates and NGO staff involved in all aspects of HIV, including the introduction and roll-out of anti-retroviral treatment in resource-poor and middle income countries.
The complexity and mutability of HIV changes even as our understanding of the disease becomes ever more sophisticated. Doctors and patients alike struggle to keep pace with its symptoms and treatment. For this reason, EJAF has always prioritised funding the most accurate and up-to-date information about HIV for both those treating and living with the disease – to enable them to make informed choices about their condition.
